“Three years have passed since the fall of Afghanistan on 8/15/2021. The Taliban occupied our country. That incident caused our country to return to twenty years ago and this caused many Afghans to migrate to other countries. Afghanistan's black day is August 15 and I wanted to remember that day with this painting and show the pain of that day in this picture.”
